Our day with Fiora was the best of our trip to Sicily. Fiora is not only an amazing chef and teacher, but also a gracious and kind host! She met us at the local market and we decided what we wanted to cook/prepare and eat. We prepared and ate fresh figs topped with prosciutto, stuffed zucchini flowers with mozzarella and anchovies, pasta with mussels and clams, eggplant parmesan and tuna with carmelized onions and mint. We enjoyed an incredible meal with Fiora. The entire experience from the market to preparation to cooking to eating together was more than we could have ever hoped for.
